CandyBox started in the most unglamorous but honest way possible - in my bedroom during the 2020 lockdown.
Like so many others, I suddenly had to stop my usual salon visits. While that might seem small, I realised just how much those little moments of self-care meant to me. A fresh set of nails wasn’t just about how they looked, it was about how they made me feel. Put together. Confident. Ready to take on the day.
At first, it was just about finding a way to recreate that feeling for myself. Testing, trying, figuring out what actually worked. The more I got into it, the more I wondered 'why isn’t this easier?' Why did something so simple still feel time consuming, messy, or never quite salon-quality?
That’s when the idea really clicked.
If I was looking for a better way to do my nails at home, I knew others were too.
That’s where CandyBox was born.

I created Candy Box with one simple goal:
To make beautiful, confidence-boosting nails accessible to everyone.
I wanted something that fit into real life. Busy schedules, tight budgets, last-minute plans... without sacrificing that luxury, put-together feeling.
